Meet Green Bay Chiropractor Dr. Timothea Massart

What do you mean not everyone goes to a chiropractor?

Dr. Timothea Massart, Green Bay Chiropractor

Dr. Timothea Massart

I asked my parents this question when I was a child and actually realized that all families didn’t go to a chiropractor regularly as part of their routine to stay healthy. I was a blessed child because my mom worked for a local chiropractor which gave us the opportunity to be treated regularly and for my parents to know the value of family chiropractic care. So, chiropractic has been a normal part of my life since I was a child and now it is my goal to teach other families that it can be an integral part of their lives as well.”

Chiropractic Education

Dr. Massart began her pre-chiropractic education at Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. She received her bachelors degree in Biology. After completing her study at Tulane she moved on to study at Logan College of Chiropractic near St. Louis Missouri. During her four years at Logan, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, x-ray, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and patient care. After graduating in 2001 Dr. Massart practiced chiropractic in Kentucky with a chiropractor who mentored her for one year. Following that very educational year Dr. Massart returned to her hometown of Green Bay to open her own chiropractic practice and to be near her family whom she is very close to.

Every family doesn’t go to a chiropractor?

A question Dr. Massart remembers well. “So I make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions, and listen attentively so that I communicate effectively the possible health benefits for not only the patient but for every member of their family as well.”

On a Personal Note…

Dr. Massart is married and they have two golden retrievers who are considered their fur babies. When Dr. Massart is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, exercising, snowmobiling, UTVing, and just about anything else involving the outdoors.
