Introducing Green Bay Chiropractor Dr. Timothea Massart

"What do you mean not everyone goes to a chiropractor?" I asked my parents this question when I was a child and actually realized that all families didn't go to a chiropractor regularly as part of their routine to stay healthy.  I was a blessed child because my mom worked for a local chiropractor which gave us the opportunity to be treated regularly and for my parents to know the value of family chiropractic care.  So, chiropractic has been a normal part of my life since I was a child and now it is my goal to teach other families that it can be an integral part of their lives as well."

Dr. Massart began her pre-chiropractic education at Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana.  She received her bachelors degree in Biology.  After completing her study at Tulane she moved on to study at Logan College of Chiropractic near St. Louis Missouri.  During her four years at Logan, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, x-ray, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and patient care.  After graduating in 2001 Dr. Massart practiced chiropractic in Kentucky with a chiropractor who mentored her for one year.  Following that very educational year Dr. Massart returned to her hometown of Green Bay to open her own chiropractic practice and to be near her family whom she is very close to.

"Every family doesn't go to a chiropractor?"  A question Dr. Massart remembers well.  "So I make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions, and listen attentively so that I communicate effectively the possible health benefits for not only the patient but for every member of their family as well."

Dr. Massart is married to Dana and they do not have any children but they do have a golden retriever named Lucy that has been referred to as their "little baby" on more than one occasion.  When Dr. Massart is not at the office she enjoys spending time with Lucy "the big red dog" and cycling.  Dr. Massart and her husband Dana are avid cyclists and can be found riding their bikes in the area for fun and exercise and in organized events that help support local charities.

Dr. Massart Asks some important questions of interest to Green Bay residents - Chiropractor Green Bay Dr. Massart Asks...

How do you know when you're healthy?
Ask most Green Bay residents this simple question and you're likely to hear, "When you feel good" or "When you're at your proper weight for your height" or "When you have lots of energy and vitality." Great answers. But our chiropractic patients know that true health is when your body is working as it was designed. True health is how you function, not how you feel.
What's the purpose of a surgeon's mask?
When I ask most people in Green Bay this, most think it protects the patient from the doctor's germs. But it's so porous it does little to prevent the passage of germs. We chiropractors don't bother with masks.
